One of North County's most successful restaurateurs is Mr. Chin Tsai, who owns a couple of popular restaurants in Hawaii and close to a dozen Chin's Szechuan restaurants throughout the county. Last year, Mr. Chin brought the Hawaiian influence to Old California Restaurant Row when he opened the beautiful and tropical Maui Bistro Pacific Cuisine by Chin's. This is a stunning contemporary place to dine, be it for lunch or dinner. There's a patio with palms and a fire pit, and inside, a long room that opens into smaller dining alcoves. Its art and decor all reflect the allure of exotic island life. Catering available.
