Big John’s Rhythm City Grill is a restaurant dedicated to elevating the status of Southern Style foods by introducing a menu with a combination of the Carolinas and Louisiana home cooked favorites. Big John's Rhythm City Grill is owned by John Johnson, a native of North Carolina and is managed by George Qualls from the Southern Cajun food capital of Louisiana. Therefore, although the BBQ, Mac & Cheese, Gumbo and the Fried Okra are the most mentioned, the whole Southern menu is a specialty at Big John's Rhythm City Grill.
The Chicken Fried Steak and Jambalaya are two of the main featured entrées with corn bread and two sides that are featured during Big John's Rhythm City Grills’ Daily Lunch Specials. The Cat Fish and Tilapia have grown to be a favorite of many customers which has resulted in an “All You Can Eat Cat Fish Day.” Big John's Rhythm City Grill menu also has a Vegan section especially for the Vegetarians. And popular dessert items include Carolina Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce, Sweet Potato Pie and Cobbler.
Live Jazz or Blues is featured on the patio each Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the listening pleasure of those who would like to dine on the patio.
